Canadian researchers have published a study to evaluate the safety of the COVID-19 genetic vaccines during and after pregnancy. To do so, they collected self-reported data through an online survey. The study found no significant increase in reported adverse pregnancy or infant outcomes among vaccinated and unvaccinated participants. Members of the Protect Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Campaign have analyzed the study and raised a number of concerns about potential biases, interpretation of the data, and signals of potential harm that were not further investigated. This raises questions about the study’s conclusions.
