Dr. John Campbell provides an overview of a recent Cochrane Systematic Review of the effects of masking to prevent the spread of airborne respiratory viruses.  This analysis revealed that the RCTs did not show a clear reduction in respiratory viral infection with the use of medical/surgical masks, including N95/ P2 respirators.
