CMAJ study is bad science pushing hatred & vaccine disinformation -Dr. Byram Bridle, Immunologist

An interview with Dr. Bridle highlighting critical errors in the article published in the CMAJ titled “Impact of population mixing between vaccinated and unvaccinated subpopulations on infectious disease dynamics: implications for SARS-CoV-2 transmission” by Fisman et al. Multiple major flaws in the study are explained. The conclusion of the article could be reversed if real world data was entered as parameters for the model used by the authors. Dr. Bridle also explains concepts such as herd immunity, natural immunity, and the definition and effectiveness of vaccines.
