A 6-Week Time Period May not be Sufficient to Identify Potential Adverse Events Following COVID-19 Vaccination

Drs Prevost and Banoun have published a peer-reviewed article advocating for extension of the timeline to accept entries into the adverse event reporting systems for the COVID-19 genetic vaccines. The average current recommended time is 6 weeks. The COVID-19 vaccines have different mechanisms of actions than traditional vaccines and their components/products have been isolated in the body beyond 6 weeks. Using pharmacological records of new or worsening symptoms following vaccination, the authors find that a number of these ailments may manifest later than the 6-week reporting limit.
